The Ballyclare community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Natasha “Tash” Gove, who tragically passed away following a road traffic accident on the evening of Saturday, July 18, 2026. Her sudden passing has left her family, friends, and everyone who knew her devastated as they come to terms with the loss of a young woman whose warmth and kindness touched countless lives.

Born and raised in Ballyclare, Tash was well known for her vibrant personality, infectious smile, and unwavering loyalty to the people she loved. She attended Ballyclare Secondary School, where she formed lifelong friendships, before pursuing her passion for the beauty industry at Northern Regional College in Newtownabbey, earning her Level 3 Hairdressing qualification.

Alongside her studies, Tash worked at Ballyclare Golf Club, where she became a familiar face to members and visitors alike. Her friendly nature, quick wit, and welcoming personality made a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Above all else, Tash was a devoted mother to her beloved son, S-jay David Duff. Friends and family say he was the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to giving him love, happiness, and every opportunity for a bright future.

According to loved ones, Tash was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a serious collision on Saturday evening. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, she sadly succumbed to her injuries.

Her father, David Gove, confirmed the heartbreaking news in an emotional message, writing: “It is with great heartache and sadness that I have to post that our daughter Natasha Gove passed away… Please allow my family to grieve and deal with this tragedy. RIP Tash Gove.”

Since news of her passing emerged, heartfelt tributes have poured in across Northern Ireland.
